In 2016 Neil became involved with the Oakland School for the Arts, a visual and performing arts public charter school for middle and high school students located in Oakland, California. Founded in 2002, “OSA” curriculum integrates it’s conservatory arts-style training, with rigorous college prep academics. The school maintains a solid program for its students to be well prepared to attend a four year university. In support of the school’s mission, in April of 2016, the Neil Giraldo Recording Studio was a welcome gift to the music department.
